Sydney Marks Gucci 90th Anniversary With Archive Exhibits

From September 30 to October 2, 2011, premium Italian jewelry retailer, Liguori, together with Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry hosted a 4-day in-store exhibition in Frascati, near Rome.The occasion was to celebrate Gucci’s 90th anniversary, the store was fully branded with images featuring vintage elements belonging to Gucci’s History including a wide selection of the Gucci museum archives. The full spectrum of Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry was on view, including the latest ‘1921’ and G-Timeless Sport models, as well as a glittering parure in Beryl in white gold and diamonds.

On October 5, 2011, Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry co-hosted an exclusive reception with one of the largest diamond retailers in the US, Helzberg Diamonds, to celebrate the three-year partnership between Gucci and The Recording Academy®.The occasion marked the arrival of the Gucci GRAMMY® Traveling Exhibit in Kansas City, Missouri, which was displayed at the newly opened Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts, a major hub for music, opera, theater and dance. The GRAMMY Traveling Exhibit includes interactive displays, archive exhibits from the GRAMMY® Museum and a showcase of the music preservation program from The Recording Academy, which is supported by Gucci Timepieces & Jewelry.
